Texas Exotic Hunts
HB Hunting Ranch offers fully guided and all-inclusive Texas Exotic Hunts. Our most popular exotic hunts are for Red Stag and Aoudad. We also have access to a variety of other exotic game animals if interested. All exotic hunts are conducted from our HB Hunting Product blinds and feeders with your choice of bow or hunting rifle. The land is heavily wooded with oaks and mesquite trees. The rolling, rocky terrain can make it a challenging exotic hunt.
Aoudad Hunts in Texas
We offer Aoudad Hunts in Texas year-round. Aoudad are the most challenging exotic game animal to hunt on the ranch. They have a great sense of smell and very good hearing. Aoudad are sandy brown in color and have unique horns that curve outwards, backward, then inwards.
Red Stag Hunts in Texas
Red Stag Hunts in Texas will start in October and go until the end of January. Red Stag will drop their antlers at the end of winter and then start growing them again in the spring. When the antlers are in velvet, stag can grow up to one inch of antler a day. When their testosterone levels drop, the antlers will stop growing and the velvet will fall off. The mature male stag like to hide in the timber and can be found wallowing in watering holes during the warmer months. Red Stag are one of the largest deer species and are extremely fun to hunt!
